Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipes

Do you struggle to get your children to eat any fruits or vegetables?
I t is such an exhausting proposition that usually ends mealtimes with
fighting and crying. You want the best for your children and you know
that fruits and vegetables are so good for their health. They provide
all the vitamins and minerals that they need for stronger bones, better
immune systems and overall health. But they resist. In a world filled
with processed foods and fast food, something like a banana has no
appeal (no pun intended!) Yet a banana is so sweet and delicious. If
they would just try one, you know they would love it. Sometimes, you
have to be sneaky to be a parent. You have to make food appealing to
kids. Consider it food entertainment. One way to get your child to eat
fruits is to incorporate them into quick breads. The banana bread is the
perfect choice because it is such a sweet taste and it can be adapted in
so many ways. For example, kids love chocolate. Whether it is candy,
chocolate milk or pudding, it is a favorite. Add chocolate chip to your
banana bread recipe. As the smell of bananas and chocolate float through
the house, the child will investigate. What is mom cooking now? It sure
does smell great. Tell him that it is chocolate chip bread. Once it has
baked and has cooled slightly, offer a piece of the bread with a glass
of milk.
As he is busy eating it and licking chocolate pieces from his hand,
casually mention that it is chocolate chip banana bread and offer
another slice. He nods his heads because his mouth is full of the
delicious treat. You smile because you knew that he would like it if he
just tried it. Mission accomplished.
